HOW THE NFL WORKS

The NFL pre-season generally begins on the first or second weekend of August with the Hall of Fame game. Since 2021 teams play just 3 preseason games instead of 4, and the regular season usually starts in the first week of September. Each of the 32 NFL teams plays 17 games over the 18 weeks of the regular season, with 7 each from the AFC and NFC making the post-season. Since 2020 only the number 1 ranked team in each conference gets a bye, with the other teams playing in the Super Wild Card round. 6 winners from the Wild Card round plus the two top seeded teams make it to the Divisional round. The winners advance to the Conference Championship to decide the best team from the AFC and NFC, and the two finalists meet in the Super Bowl in early February.

PLAYING NFL FANTASY PICK’EM

To play NFL Pick’em you must create a free SportsMillions account and then make a USD deposit. Our Fantasy Pick’em game provides stats on every game in the NFL, and you must select higher or lower than the given stat.

You can make between two and twelve picks where the more picks you get right means a bigger payout. Getting 2 from 2 picks correct pays out 3 times your stake, all the way up to x1,500 for 12 correct fantasy picks.

TYPES OF HIGHER/LOWER NFL PICKS

Playing NFL Fantasy Pick’em involves picking higher or lower than a given player or team statistic.

Here are the different pick’em options which could be available when playing Fantasy Football Pick’em at SportsMillions. Not every option will be offered on every game/player but here are all of the possibilities:

• Field Goals Made: Will a kicker make more or less kicks than the selected stat?
• Kicking Points: Estimate the number of total points the kicker will make in a game.
• Passing Attempts: Here you need to pick higher or lower than a number of passes attempted by the QB.
• Passing Completions: This stat relates to completed passes by the quarterback, not just attempts.
• Passing Touchdowns: How many passing TDs will be scored during the NFL game.
• Passing Yards: Passing yards measures the total number of air yards by a quarterback.
• Receiving & Rushing Touchdowns: Combination of receiving and rushing touchdowns during a game.
• Receiving & Rushing Yards: Pick over or under the total number of offensive yards made.
• Receiving Touchdowns: Choose whether a player or team beats the receiving TD stat line.
• Receiving Yards: How many receiving yards for a player or team.
• Receptions: Estimate the number of receptions made by a team or player.
• Rushing Attempts: This stat is the number of attempted rushes, not the completed yards.
• Rushing Touchdowns: Same as receiving TDs but this one favors teams with a good ground game.
• Rushing Yards: How many yards will a player or team make during the NFL game.
• Tackles & Assists: Combined number of tackles and assisted tackles during the game.
